Impact of Enabling Transaction Security in Manage Enterprise HCM Information

Summary:

In order to limit access so that user can manage only Compensation salary subcategory transactions, we have followed below steps based on the below document to achieve the requirement.

Transaction Security Profiles

Steps followed

Create  Transaction security profile with compensation as category and salary as sub category
Create job role with Review HCM Approval Transactions as Administrator duty role.
Create data role and associate newly created Job role
Add newly created Transaction security profile to the data role.
Enable Transaction Security in Manage Enterprise HCM Information
Add the data role to user

Expected result is, the user with this data role must be able to view/access Compensation salary subcategory transactions.
