Is there an option to edit the action code in Input Interfaces Stage Records (Items)?

Summary:

Problem Statement: Items are stuck in the Input Interfaces staging table with error code "Item not Found", since the action code = "Update" but item isn't created yet. Is there a permission/option to process the items directly in WMS by updating the action code to "Create"?

There could be situations in which the original item creation in WMS failed for various reasons so when the item is updated upstream and comes to WMS the "Update" action code is sent thus causing items to get stuck in staging table.

When items are stuck it causes a domino effect with orders getting errors in staging table as well so looking for the ability to reprocess item records by simply updating the action code.
