GOP: Sch Ship Date returned is only based on first level Sourcing Rule and not beyond (non B2B)
Summary:
Global Order Promising GOP: Sch Ship Date (SDD) returned is only based on first level Sourcing Rule and not beyond (non B2B)
Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):
SSD is not correct due to GOP is only show first level of sourcing details in sales order, whereas we have multiple level of sourcing. consider the following example:
- GOP global Sourcing rule brings the ship from warehouse W1 based on customer and customer site.
- For the item and warehouse combination there is a transfer from (W2 to W1) sourcing rule from 2nd warehouse, W2.
- If there is out of stock in 2nd warehouse (W2) then it will look for manufacturing unit, W3 though 'make at W3' sourcing rule and 'transfer from rule W3 to W2'.
