Unable to change date format in VB studio for Journey redwood page

Summary:

I have created one custom layout where I need to change the date format to DD-MMM-YYYY, by default date format is coming as 'DD-MM-YYYY'. When I am trying to open the code for the 'StartDate' field, screen is getting blank, nothing is opening. Can anyone please guide me how to change the date format in VB studio. Attaching the screenshot for the reference.
