Asset transfer from Projects to Fixed Asset - Depreciation flag

Summary:

We unchecked 'Depreciate' for the Land specific asset category and it works within Fixed Asset module - when we create an asset under the category . But when we transfer an asset (Land category) from the Projects to Fixed Assets, the flag for 'Depreciate' is automatically on and users have to turn that off everytime they transfer. Why is that happening and if there is a way to have it unflagged without manually turing it off? Thank you for your help in advance.
