User Item type : VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) item forecast has to be published to Vendor

in Planning

Current Scenario : VMI items are not part of planning, the replenishment of the items is done via Min-Max quantity in Inventory Management.
VMI items MPS MRP planning attributes are set to 'Not Planned'.

Business Requirement : Business wants to generate a forecast for VMI items so that Vendor could see this forecast and plan accordingly to meet the demand.

Question : Is it within the scope of Planning application to cater the Business needs as mentioned above.
