Employee assignment details changed due to manager assignment change in future dated changes

There is an employee promoted to a new position effective from 9th December. But a position synchronization row is inserted automatically effective from 6th Jan and in result Job, Grade, Position were changed. While checked the history, there is a future dated transaction of termination for manager effective from 5th Jan. As a result, employee position was demoted to previous position so again the promotion action needs to be done.

Is there any way to avoid such transactions?
