Can approval workflow be tweaked based on approvers action during workflow in oracle HCM?

Summary:

We have requirement for position creation Process. The approvals route is as below.

If field X is set to N, then Manager initiates → HR Generalist → AOR1 (Process 1)

If field X is set to Y, then HR Generalist initiates → AOR1 → AOR2 (Process 2)

Now when Manager Initiates with X set to N (Process 1) and when HR Generalist updates it to Y as action by first approver, can the tranaction be routed to Process-2?

Please help with your thoughts and solution to achieve this?
