Automatically populate the contract parties and deliverables in term template

We would like the system automatically populate the parties from contract template and populate the deliverable from term template.

We create a contract template which indicate all the contract parties. We also create a term template with all the deliverables and

The problem that we are facing is when we create the contract from template. The parties from the template is copied to the contract which is good. But the deliverable from the template is not copied from the term template. The only way to achieve it is to remove the document type default from the term template. Then we manually add the term template. Then deliverables will be automatically populate in the contract. My question is why not oracle sysetm default both parties and deliverables at the same time.
