How to Delete a Manager From Specific Assignment Record by Using HDL

Summary:

We need to delete a manager (not a line manager) from a specific assignment record using HDL.

Issue:
When attempting to delete the manager, the DELETE action removes the manager from all assignment records associated with the employee, rather than just the specified record.

Based on some documentation, it seems this occurs because "deletion happens at the object level and not at the row level." I suspect this is why our approach isn’t working.

We also attempted to specify all assignment records in the HDL file and apply the DELETE action to only one record. However, this approach was unsuccessful. (Example provided below.)
