How to Change Division for a Legal Entity with an Effective Date

Dear Team,

We received a customer requirement to change to the division of a specific Legal Entity (LE). The change is required to take effect starting from 2025/01/01.

We tried to update the division in the organization tree and we found that the update applies to all historical records, rather than being effective from the specified date. This behavior impacts the historical data, which is not acceptable for our use case. Has anyone faced a similar situation or knows of a way to configure such a change to be effective from a specific date without affecting historical records. I have highlighted the particular LE in the attached screenshot.
