how to find the account event type related to Inventory/Receiving transactions

We would like to know the relation between Inventory/Receiving transactions and its underlying accounting events & journal rules.

For example, for movement request issuance transaction which Journal rule will be executed by the costing engine and even in journal rule we could find multiple rules. Out of all the rules, which rule is executed for the transaction how can we come to know? how can we test and verify whether the correct accounting events are happening in the system.
