REST API Access to Person Name Only (Excluding Other Personal Details)

Summary:

We have a requirement to provide REST API GET access to only the Person Name, while restricting access to other personal details such as emails, address, and National Identifier.

We have added the read-only aggregate privilege, Use REST Service - Worker Details Read Only, and created custom data security policies to allow access to the Person Name. However, the data is only populating when the Person Details data resource is assigned with the View Person access, which returns the Person Name along with other details (like emails, address, and National Identifier).
