Absence Balance - monthly forfeiture for an Accrual Plan

edited Jan 29, 2025 1:35PM in Workforce Management 2 comments

Summary:

We have the following requirements for an absence plan:

  1. employees accrue 1 day monthly (this is achieved)
  2. the employees cannot accrue more than 1 day in total (this is achieved using ceiling functionality). Additional complexity is that the balance accrued during the previous month should be wiped out. That way, the employee would only accrue 1 day for a given month, and would get to use it only within the same month. If we only use ceiling functionality, the employee's balance never exceeds 1 day, but it can be used for preceding months.

does anyone have experience with delivering a similar requirement ? I could see in another discussion that monthly accrual plan terms are not yet available to configure. Is there any plan on making this available soon?

Howdy, Stranger!
