Script analysis throwing an error with substitution variable

I'm attempting to make a business rule quicker, so I'm doing a script analysis on it. The rule validates and functions with no errors; however, when I try to do a script analysis, it's a problem. It doesn't like the substitution variables.

Is there a trick I'm not familiar with to get this to work?
