Will interorganization transfers update unit costs in the destination organization

To replenish the stock from IO 1 to IO 2, IO 2 will create IMT request with inventory destination. IO will not be having purchase orders to receive or any Miscellaneous Receipt except the first entry of balance from the old item codes to new item codes. In this scenario, will interorganization transfer between IO 1 to IO 2 update the unit costs in IO 2?
