How are Archived Transactions are purged in HCM

Summary:

We have purge transaction set up for approvals as 'Don't purge'. However, we could still see the archived transactions being purged and deleted from Archived transaction summary tab in transaction console.

Could anyone please confirm How and when are Archived Transactions are purged in HCM.

As per the oracle documents, we understood that Archive Transaction Console Completed Transactions process archives the transactions based on the time period set against approvals. Archived transactions will be moved to Archived transaction summary tab in transaction console.

and these Archived transactions will be purged based on the purge policies in the Transaction Console based on your organization’s data retention policies that are set up in Approval Rules tab.
