Dynamic Filtering Issue with Child Name LOV in DOR (Child Tuition Fees Declaration)

Problem Statement:

We have a requirement to display the Child’s Name as a list of values (LOV) in the DOR (Child Tuition Fees Declaration), configured as a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF). The Child Name LOV is dependent on two other DFF fields: Academic Year and Academic Period.

The logic for the Child Name LOV is implemented using a table value set, designed to exclude child names that have already been declared for tuition fees for the same Academic Year and Academic Period.

Issue:

  • The LOV works correctly during the creation of a new declaration, as it excludes child names for which a declaration has already been submitted.

Howdy, Stranger!
