How to store supplier case number in Inventory?

Customer receiving parts from supplier in cases to Inventory (Inventory stock is maintained by 3rd supplier). They are storing the supplier case number in their current legacy system. Then they are creating packing request to 3rd party supplier to repack by mentioning Old Case Number during sales.

Then supplier giving old and new case number back to customer and they are storing these details.

How to store Supplier Case Number and New Case number in Inventory?
