Is it possible to change a Procurement Contract number once it's created?

Hi,
There was a mistake in Contract number creation, and we would like to know if there is a way to correct it via API or any other way possible.
I checked REST API for Sales and Fusion Service in Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience - Contracts REST Endpoints but unable to see any suitable API to proceed with this request. There were no documentations about this as well so just wondering if this is feasible.
Any thoughts are highly appreciated.
