Absence Planning app and it's relation to Time Card
Summary:
We are testing the Absence Planning app and are getting some confusing results on the page once the employee's Timecard is created.
Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):
We are finding that:
- If an employee enters an absence before their Time Card for the period that the absence falls within is created, then the absence appears in the Absence Planning app and also in the Notification section for a Line Manager. This is what we would expect to see.
- However, once the employee's Time Card for the period is created, the absence disappears from the Absence Planning app for the Line Manager. In fact, the Line Manager even sees a message on the page that says, "You're up to date on absence approvals". However, the absence approval still appears in the notification section for the Line Manager.
