Offering DFF based on Course DFF

Hi Team,
I have to create an Offering DFF based on a valueset with Validation Type Table.
This Offering DFF should be linked to another DFF, but at Course level.
So if Course DFF is equal to X, then Offering DFF should be equal to Y.
I'm not able to fetch value present in Course DFF.

I tried to use below syntax, but it seems that it's not feasible.
:{SEGMENT.<segment_code>}
:{CONTEXT.<context_code>;SEGMENT.<segment_code>}
:{VALUESET.<value_set_code>}
:{FLEXFIELD.<internal_code>}
:{PARAMETER.<parameter_code>}

Any experience/suggestion on that?
