Does OTM 24c support JSON for outbound REST API calls to transportation visibility provider?

Summary:

We are trying to set up an integration with a Transportation visibility provider to send Order data to them from OTM. That provider accepts only JSON format. Can OTM push data to them in JSON format?

Currently, we believe OTM is capable of pushing data to external systems only via XML, not JSON and we are having to use a middleware to translate between XML and JSON.
