Does Fusion Costing consider Issue Transactions for Item Cost?

Hi Team,

We have requirement to have pay to suppliers an additional amount for expediate delivery service. However, this additional amount should get accommodated in Item Unit Cost.

Solution Approach:

1. Add a new line to PO for additional amount and Qty = 1 with destination type = Inventory
2. Receive this PO line at item cost. This will increase the onhand of item by 1
3. Issue out this additional onhand qty of 1 at zero cost.
4. Expectation: Item Average cost gets adjusted

Example:

PO Line 1 (Goods)

Item A, Qty = 10, Unit Price = $5

PO Line 2 (for expediate delivery)

Item A, Qty = 1, Unit Price = $15

Perform PO Receiving for both the lines
