Custom LOV search in ESS JOB is not case insensitive

Is there a way to make the LOV search case-insensitive?

I have an LOV for Supplier Name. When the LOV popup appears, users can enter a name in the search box in upper/lower or init cap . Since all suppliers names in my database are stored in uppercase, I want the search to work regardless of the case—whether users enter the name in uppercase, lowercase, or init cap.

Is there any way to achieve this?
