Redwood change manager page manager field is no more editable

edited Feb 8, 2025 6:16PM in Human Capital Management 2 comments

Summary:

Hello, can someone quickly confirm the unexpected behavior we're seeing on the Change Manager page under the Manager section? Previously, we were able to see an edit pencil icon for any user to edit their manager, which we assumed was a new feature released by Oracle. Based on this, we planned for production, and everything went smoothly during the demo with the business team.

However, after migrating the changes we made with the VBS tool and the created project today, we noticed that the field is now grayed out, preventing edits. This behavior seems to align with the RUI (Responsive User Interface). We're now confused—did Oracle implement any limitations on this page in the Redwood UI? or its because of the latest version of Visual Bulider tool 24D as previously we used 24C version and published the changes
