Is there a way to limit number of plan order for an item on a given day

Summary:

We use fixed order quantity, and sometimes planning would suggest creating 2 plan orders on a given day for the same item and it would cause storage violations as plant does not have enough space to store.

Is there a way to limit number of plan order for an item we can have on a given day or the maximum order quantity you can have for the day (not per order), so it can shift the second plan order to another day?
