In Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), organizations can set up integrations triggered by business events occurring in Oracle Fusion Cloud, such as a receipt being applied to a transaction (Standard_receipt_applied). These events play a critical role in ensuring that real-time transactional updates—such as confirming a payment—are properly communicated to source systems.
However, a recurring issue reported by customers is that business events sometimes fail to trigger or do not reach OIC, particularly when OIC experiences downtime. This results in missing or delayed transaction updates, which can have serious downstream consequences.
