Customizing Person Spotlight: Adding a Dynamic Column

Hello,
Our HR team frequently uses Person Spotlight to search for employees and complete transactions. However, they would like the ability to retain their selected columns instead of having them reset to the default system columns every time the page is reloaded.
When I view Person Spotlight in Visual Builder Studio (VBS), I receive the message:
"We didn't find any extendable components on this page."
Does this indicate that customization is not possible for this page? If so, are there alternative ways to achieve this functionality?
