CSM failed due to release version change

Summary:

We faced an error while conduction the CSM from Pre-Prod to Prod which said "You can't import because the release version on the source and target are different. Retry after exporting from a source with the same release version as the target". When checked the versions of the application Pre-Prod has 25A and Prod was in 24D. However we were able to do the CSM previously even when the versions were different (eg. Pre-Prod in 24C and prod in 24B). Is there a difference when release is moved to following year (in this case
