Fixed asset custom role

We need to create a custom role for Fixed assets and remove the privilege "Calculate Fixed Asset Depreciation" which would restrict the user to not calculate depreciation and close the period i FA. Since it is only one privilege to remove the idea was to copy the role and remove the privilege, but when copy the role the option to delete is greyed out. What would be the best way to achieve this custom role?
