Data Exchange new dimension metadata refresh error

Hi All

Under Data Exchange under the application section, there is an option to create additional Dimensions for mapping purposes. It works fine, but when we select the option " Refresh Metadata" it generates and error: Error occurred refreshing metadata". This error is not in the Process details logs or Jobs which means it s not recorded in the system log somehow.

Have any of you experienced the same? It seems that this is either a bug or a limitation under Data Exchange.
