Error when adding parts to Recall Notice: The value of the attribute InventoryItemId isn't valid

Summary:

I have an item which is on the PIM, with Manufacturer part number under Trading Partner relationship. A few PO receipts were processed against the same item.

Upon creating recall notice, I'm using the part description to select the items. The search results does show the desired item. But when trying to add to the notice, it gives an error that "The value of the attribute InventoryItemId isn't valid".

Have anyone seen this error? What could be the reason?
