Can PO Sequence number be decimal?

If a PO line number contains a decimal value (e.g., 10.34), WMS cannot support it. I am storing this decimal value in a custom field (PO_DTL_CUST_FIELD1). However, the ASN file only includes the PO line number. How can we ensure that the decimal PO line number is carried from the PO to the ASN while maintaining its reference?
