Reinstate asset function is not returning retired assets in search

Hi,

I'm trying to reinstate a retired asset. When I go to search for my retired asset, nothing is returned from my search in the reinstate asset screen.

I've tried searching for partial and fully retired assets as well as over a date range and search both ways on multiple asset books.

Has the search functionality changed? Can we only reinstate assets that are retired after a certain period? I'd like to be clear on how I find retired assets in the system because the actual reinstate functionality doesn't seem to have changed per this doc I found:
