    • Run Web Report Scheduled Job vs FTP Gen2 Scheduled Report

    Summary:

    We send various files to FTP locations. It seems this can be setup in two ways:

    1- Schedule report to run directly in Gen2 Scheduled Reports with Email Results box unchecked. Then run scheduled job type SFTP Put Files with local directory = $LGF_FILES_HOME/interfaces/… and remote directory set to target location.

    2- Use scheduled job type Run Web Report Gen2 to run report which sends file to location configured in Output Interface Configuration for Web Report.

    My question is what are reasons for setting it up one way vs the other? Is one preferrable over the other?
