Inventory location API

Hello,
We have a requirement to load inventory locations through API's.
In other words we require a way to automate loading addresses as locations and assign it to subinventories
As per the Oracle documentation, we do not see any API for achieving this.

However, is there a plan to add this functionality in any upcoming releases?
Or is there any work around through which this can be achieved.
