Is there a way disable user to update revision field in a commercialization change order?

Summary:

Client wants ability to rev up items using and ECO but they do not want to see revision field on a CCO. Is there a way to restrict revision field in CCO so any user does not by mistake change revision from a CCO?

Also, a separate requirement is to restrict certain line level EFFs to not show up on different change order type. Can we segregate line level Change EFFs based on change order types?
