Cannot recreate a Manufacturing Work Definition that was deleted

Summary:

User deleted a Manufacturing Work Definition through the User Interface. They highlighted the line and clicked on the "X" to delete the Work Definition (which the system deleted).

We are now trying to recreate the Work Definition (same item, Work Definition Name), but the system will not allow us to select the Work Definition Name for the given item.
