Is it possible to restrict an approver profile to specific status in the lifecycle?

The current client has more than one approver profile, and each profile will request approvals at different moments according to the status. For example: When an offering is created, the marketing team should request an approval to validate if the offering is correct at the "Design Complete" status. Right after that, there will be an intermediate status called "Design Adjustments" where the communication team will need to provide approval. However, the marketing team should not have access to the "Initiate Approval" button at the "Design Adjustments" status, and the communication team should not have access to the "Initiate Approval" button
