Can we create religion specific calendar events?

The requirement is to allocate holidays based on religion. For example, if an employee's religion is listed in their profile as Hindu, the calendar event we created in the system for 'Maha Shivaratri' should only appear in the calendars of Hindu employees; it should not be visible to other employees. For them, it should remain a working day. Is this requirement feasible?
