Manage Users - Changing LE when not licensed for full HCM

Hi All

We are NOT licensed for full HCM, we are Financials / Procurement only, and therefore deal with employees through the Manage Users screen (i.e. the old EBS shared HR concept).

When an employee is created, the Legal Employer (LE) field is greyed out and not enterable / updateable once the employee has been created. We need to understand how the LE can be amended in a way which does not break our license agreements. We do not want to have to inactivate and create a new employee everytime this field needs to be changed.

When using full HCM, the advise is to delete the work relationship and amend. We do not have the ability to use this method when not licensed for HCM. Any help / guidance is appreciated.
