EPM Agent file adapter in EPM

Hi All.

Could you please explain to me how the Agent file adapter works, because I have already created the intergation based on steps provided in Oracle doc (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/enterprise-performance-management-common/diepm/epm_agent_file_adapter.html) but have question on how it is getting the file.
