Cost distribution that splits lines according to quantity

Dear Community,

We are having trouble with cost distribution that splits lines according to quantity.
For instance, the system will generate 1500 lines if the document's quantity is 1500. This is causing problems with accounting and reconciliation.
Could you explain to me why the system behaves this way?
