Firm Work order pegged against a Sales order is still showing as "Not Pegged" under Demand pegging.

A work order is showing as pegged against a SO in MRP plan. However when we search just the WO it's showing as 'Not pegged' in order type other Supply plan. Please let me know why the system is behaving this way.
