Cost Accounting processing timecard details from HCM
Summary:
We have created a new cost centre and new departments as of 01/01/1951 and moved the employees to the new departments effective of 01/01/2025.
Before that employees has submitted the timecards on 28/02/2025 so that "Cost Accounting" will pick up the depts and CC siting on that week 23/02/ 25 to 28/02/25. But when the cost accounting is processed on 1st March, it is picking up the new depts and new cost under which the employees have been moved. As per our understanding cost accounting should pick up the old dept and cc which is as of timecard week which is 23/02/25 to 28/02/2025 and not new Dept and CC.
