Discount for cutomer for quantity in a quarter

Hi, We looking for a way to give a customer a quantity in a quarter, in different saes orders

for Example

if customer by more then 500 from item ABC he should get 10% discount from the 501 quantity

customer bout 100 in 5 SOs - so I need to give 10% discount on the 6th SO

Any idea?
