Does the Ready to build feature use stock available in the entire supply chain

Summary:

I wanted to understand how the Ready to build works. We have a FG item and RM1 as a component. The RM1 would be consumed in PL1 (plant). It would be stored in WH1 (Wharehouse1). If not available in WH1, then it will be bough from supplier.

I wanted to know that does the Ready to build considers the stock levels in both PL1 (plant) and WH1( Warehouse). Ideally it should, as we have sourcing rules already in place, which tells that what all locations this item can be stored.
