Adding hint on Supplier Registration fields using document.getElementById in VBCS Javascript

Hi

Since in Redwood pages, there is no option to add hints at field level ( which we have in classic UI), I tried to add hints using javascript in VBCS by using html construct "document.getElementById" . However Visual Builder throws error when trying to use this .

I am aware we can add instructions but following steps mentioned in this link

But :

  • these instructions appear at the page level not at field level
  • and would appear on all pages like contacts, addresses, bank accounts which would confuse suppliers.

Can you please help us how I either add hints at field level or use document.getElementById in Javascript
