Has anyone created a custom role for staff outside of HR to access other staff addresses?

I am still figuring out how to create custom job roles for HCM, but I am hoping someone that has already done this can help me. I have a user who can't see data in the Workforce Management - Person Real Time subject area, but I can because I have the "Human Resource Analyst" role assigned. I cannot give her this same role because she should not be able to access any HCM pages for changes, but HR has agreed to let her see person addresses in an analysis I built for her.
